Drill Hall Melbourne
Working closely with the project architects and ICON Construction, Rakumba fabricated four oversized 10 metre long feature pendants to complement the restored Royal Melbourne Regiment Drill Hall in Melbourne's CBD. Rakumba fully detailed and documented the pendants as part of the fabrication process. Rakumba proposed a number of fabric alternatives prior to agreeing a custom fabric we imported especially from Europe to suit the architectural aesthetic.

ANZ Private Banking
Designer Simone LeAmon accepted a private commission from ANZ Private Banking to create a trio of stunning contemporary floor lamps inspired by the traditional Ballerina lamp shade. LeAmon and Rakumba collaborated closely on the design and fabrication of both the luxurious lamp shades and highly crafted floor lamp bases.

Prahran Town Hall
Rakumba custom fabricated supersized feature pendant lights for the renovation of the Prahran Town Hall function centre. Working closely with Laser Lighting and the building architects, interior designers and electrical contractors ensured the pendant design delivered the desired lighting effects and complemented the aesthetic of the spectacular ballroom.

Crown Level 39
For Crown's newly opened and highly exclusive Level 39 gaming floor, Rakumba worked intensively with Stephen Hennessey (SHAD), Bates Smart, Crown Projects and AGLO Systems over several months to fabricate hand made silk pleated pendant lights for the entry to each private gaming suite. Rakumba's thorough research and development paired with our highly skilled artisans delivered precisely pleated silk fabric without the need of an internal frame.

Myer Mural Hall
Working with MIM Design and The Big Group, Rakumba delivered custom designed and fabricated feature floor lamps for the Myer Mural Hall entry area and table centrepieces for the ballroom. Collaborating closely with Bruce Keebaugh of The Big Group, Rakumba's rapid prototyping capabilities ensured delivery of a refined result within an extremely demanding project schedule.

Bistrio Guillaume, Crown Casino
Crown Projects required restoration of a highly crafted feature pendant for the newly opened Bistro Gruillaume at Crown Casino. Painstaking restoration of the badly damaged original pendant delivered a magnificent result.
